The IIS Group is delighted to announce it has agreed a deal worth in excess of €1m with Suretank to provide the market-leading ERP solution SAP Business One.
The Dunleer-based enterprise will now receive SAP Business One, powered by SAP HANA,
complemented by certain add-ons from the IIS Group B1 Apps range, plus associated
services and support from the SAP Gold Partner. This will provide the world-leading manufacturer of cargo carrying units for the oil and gas industry with an end-to-end solution to manage its global operations.
Morgan Browne, Chief Executive, IIS Group, is delighted that Suretank has decided to
partner with the IIS Group and to have selected SAP Business One as their business
management solution moving forward. He commented: “IIS Group is pleased to partner with Suretank – one of Ireland’s success stories in recent years. Now, after selecting SAP Business One, powered by SAP HANA, we look forward to helping the company seamless manage different facilities across the globe from a single, integrated solution where staff will be able to harness the power of HANA to access real-time data on company activities.”
John Fitzgerald, CEO, Suretank, explained it was the different tools within SAP Business
One which really impressed the company when completing its tender process. He commented: “SAP Business One is a leading ERP solution for small to medium-sized
enterprises. It has many features which appealed to us at Suretank. There’s strong modular
solutions across different functions, along with rapid deployment and a capacity for global
integration – which was key in terms of total ownership cost and ease of implementation. In addition, the BI Apps range developed by IIS Group, made the core product even more
attractive.”
Mr Fitzgerald added that Suretank is uniquely placed to offer clients across the globe with its best-in-class products and services. But to meet these growth opportunities, Suretank
requires a scalable solution to meet demand: “Multiple legacy systems make delivering a consistent customer experience more difficult, and potentially reduce the efficiency of operations through manual processes, or duplication of effort across departments. Fast and consistent access to quality data is also critical to operate competitively in today’s market place. SAP Business One, powered by SAP HANA, will provide that,” he said.
Tender programme leader Michael Browne said it was an easy decision for Suretank to
partner with the Dublin-based software and solutions provider, who ticked all the right boxes.
“The quality of the implementation partner is just as important to Suretank as the ERP
solution itself,” Mr Browne said. “We set a very strict criteria around our partner in terms of industry experience, reliability, quality, their size of team but also flexibility in working with our business. Building strong relationships is critical in a complex ERP roll out. IIS Group was a clear winner through our tender process in all of those categories. Also, we found that the IIS Group are not just dedicated to SAP Business One. They have been creative in developing the B1 Apps range, which will enhance the core product’s offering.”
The roll-out of SAP Business One, powered by SAP HANA, will be delivered in two phases
by the IIS Group. The business management solution will initially be deployed in Suretank’s headquarters in Ireland, before the global roll-out in its facilities in the UK, Poland, China, Thailand, Brazil and the USA.
