IIS is delighted to announce that it has been selected to provide the market-leading ERP
solution SAP Business One to Southgate Packaging.
The family-run enterprise will now receive SAP Business One, complemented by certain
add-ons from the IIS B1 Apps range, plus associated services and support. This will provide
the packaging specialist with an end-to-end business management system to help the
company overcome several common IT challenges and meet its objectives around
environmental responsibilities.
Morgan Browne, Chief Executive, IIS, was delighted the King’s Lynn-based company has
decided to partner with Europe’s leading SAP Business One partner. He commented: ‘IIS is pleased to partner with Southgate Packaging – a company which is renowned for providing packaging solutions that exceed the expectations of clients. Now, after deploying SAP Business One, we look forward to helping the company achieve their business targets for the future.’
Craig Turner, Operations Director, Southgate Packaging, explained that the company was
struggling to manage different programs in separate departments before selecting SAP
Business One. He said: “We were looking for a business management system that would cater for all areas of the company from accounts to CRM, right through to sales opportunity planning and then
despatch. Previously, we had different systems for accounting, CRM and sales analysis.
“The company-wide integration SAP Business One provides means we can now manage our
organisation within one system. SAP Business One will enable us to become a ‘paperless
business’. It will reduce the number of documents we have to print as hard copies as we can
now electronically transfer service calls within the CRM module between operational
departments. Integrated CRM tools will also enable us to reduce Excel spreadsheets and
other reporting tools outside of the system.”
Southgate Packaging estimates that by implementing SAP Business One it will make savings
in the region of £30,000 per annum by eliminating paper invoices, statements and printed
stationery. With such savings, Craig added it was an easy to decision to partner with IIS – who have
offices across Europe and have helped more than 350 companies in the last ten years achieve
their business goals.
“IIS was a SAP Gold Partner that was recommended to us by a business coach that had
successfully worked with the company in the past. Now, having worked with IIS from the initial demo through to the final implementation stage, it’s fair to say the company is
structured with fantastic individuals.”
