IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announced that Marbach has decided to implement IFS Applications 9.
Marbach will introduce IFS’s software throughout its worldwide operations in order to increase group-wide transparency. This will give all involved departments a holistic view of production orders, including previews, in order to optimize CAD processing and production planning. Through centralization and standardization, Marbach will have a clearer record of its customers’ order history, specifications and requirements.
IFS Applications will replace numerous stand-alone systems that Marbach had implemented over the years, which will improve ease-of-use for end-users and also simplify IT support requirements. The IFS solution will harmonize and standardize the processes at the individual Marbach sites and shorten process times through higher automation.
