Causeway has achieved certification to the internationally recognised, ISO 27001 information security standard, following assessment by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).
ISO 27001 covers the key areas of Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability and is designed to reduce the risk of security threats and avoid any system risks being exploited. Crucially, it also gives customers the confidence that any information about them on Causeway systems is secure, while also being available when required.
Hywel Evans, Causeway’s Executive Vice President for Corporate Affairs, commented: “Information security is vital to both Causeway and our customers, so operating an Information Security Management System to ISO 27001 provides peace of mind for all parties. It also incorporates a Business Continuity Plan to ensure we can continue to support customers in the event of an incident.”
LRQA’s Phil Willoughby added: “LRQA works in partnership with its clients to help them effect real change in their business. We are delighted that Causeway Technologies has achieved certification to the information security standard, ISO 27001. Having a robust information security management system gives their stakeholders the confidence that they have addressed all relevant security risks including IT, people & business continuity.”
