A Sheffield based firm has been named the fastest growing technology company in Yorkshire.
Leading Microsoft software provider, Azzure IT, has been named for the second consecutive year in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, fuelled by its rapid growth and success.
Azzure IT, which has offices in Sheffield, Newcastle and Reading, ranked 29th overall with a growth rate of 599% over the last four years, making it the second fastest growing tech company in the north, and the only business in Yorkshire to make this year’s list.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is one of the UK’s leading technology award programmes, celebrating business growth and innovation. The award, now in its 19th year, is a ranking of the country’s 50 fastest growing technology companies, based on revenue growth over the last four years.

The listing comes following a wave of success for the firm, which placed 11th in last year’s Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and has also been awarded Microsoft President’s Club membership for the second year running. The club represents the top 5% of Microsoft providers worldwide.
